FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I hope you find the answer to your question here! If not, please message me under the CONTACT menu.
What medium are your original paintings?
I mainly use water-based mediums; acrylic paint, inks, pencils, and collage. Details will usually be listed alongside each piece.
Are your paintings framed?
It varies. Most work on canvas is sold unframed; often, people prefer this contemporary look, which means it can be shipped without costing you more.
Paperworks are generally sold unframed and with a matt. Packed flat and shipped via postal service. However, if you wish a piece to be expedited DHL is useful but is an extra cost. For paperwork you would like to be framed, please contact me to discuss the cost implications.
Can items be shipped internationally?
Yes, my canvases are shipped internationally (from Barbados). They are labelled on the back with a title, signature and materials used; then rolled in tissue and finally, placed in a tube for protection. Rolling reduces the cost of shipping further. I use the postal service. Please note that you will be responsible for paying all fees, duties and taxes added on arrival. Couriers are useful for quick delivery but please contact me to discuss timing and the cost implications.
Paperworks are also shipped via the local postal service at no extra cost any other form of shipment requires a conversation to discuss costs.
Can I collect a painting?
Yes, of course, please message me and we can make arrangements.
What are the delivery costs?
If work is being sent by post, there is no extra charge. If a courier service is to be engaged, there will be a cost implication to discuss. Remember, you can always arrange to collect from me or I can deliver.
Can I purchase your work with a different payment plan?
Yes, that can be arranged. For any work over £600, send me a message and we can work out an arrangement that suits you. Usually, I request a down payment of 50% followed by monthly instalments. Once 50% has been made, the painting will be delivered to you. Monthly payments, including dates and amounts, will be pre-arranged. If you are unable to pay any of the instalments, you will need to return the artwork. I will then make a full refund once the painting is not damaged.
The painting I love has sold – how can I be sure not to miss out on new work?
Some pieces sell very quickly. Make sure you join my mailing list to be first to find out about new work. You can also follow my work on Instagram.
How will my painting be wrapped?
Every piece is carefully packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Do you do special commissions?
Yes, I do. Have a look at my page about the process and start the journey.
Can I try a painting in situ?
Yes, it is important that you love the painting you purchase and that it is the perfect fit for your environment. If you are in Barbados, I can deliver to you. I am often in the UK and in the USA throughout the year, so feel free to ask me some questions and lets make it happen!
